Legal Aid Services of Oregon Douglas County Office
Legal Aid Services of Oregon (LASO) is a nonprofit organization working to achieve justice for the low-income communities of Oregon by providing a full range of civil legal help. LASO helps people with incomes up to 125% of the federal poverty level and in some situations can help people slightly above this level.
The Douglas County Office provides free information, legal advice, help with forms, brief services, and full representation to people with low-incomes. This office helps with the following legal issues: discrimination, housing problems, evictions, protection from abuse, criminal or eviction records cleaning, wrongful educational suspension, and wrongful denials of service cases. The office also has resources to help in some family law cases.
